How to Create Location Tasks in Bulk

Goal

Bulk import tasks directly to a single location when you need to manage one-off projects — like a PIP or internal training rollout — without requiring a shared baseline. This gives your team full access to Pacer's reporting and task management features for location-specific work.

Plan availability: Available on all plans - requires Admin or Owner role

How To

1. Navigate to the Locations list from the Admin Menu.
2. Find the location you want to import tasks for, then click the Actions menu (the three-dot icon on the far right of that row).
3. Select Import Location Tasks from the menu. A drawer will open with three steps.
4. In the drawer, click Download Import Tool to get the template file for that location. This file is unique to the location — it includes a list of users who have access to that location and any projects currently active there.
5. Fill out the import tool. Assign tasks to users from the provided list, and optionally associate tasks with an existing active project at that location.
6. Return to the drawer and upload your completed file to finish the import.

Note: Only users with an Admin or Owner role have access to the Locations page and the task import option.
