Goal
This article will show you how you can select a report from the reports page and schedule it to arrive via email on a set recurring schedule. Then, how to edit and delete existing scheduled reports.
How To Schedule a Report
- Select Reports on the header menu
- There are tabs across the top of the page that show different reports available to individuals based on their user access.
- Select the report you’d like to set up
- Take your time trialing the different filters to find the report that works best for your current situation.
- Once the report is run, you'll see the button for Schedule Report
- You're now at a new page where you are setting up your scheduled report
- First, name the report.
- Then you'll determine who this report should be sent to. We also offer a CC field. It's important to note here that you can also use distribution email lists.
- The next section is Frequency. We offer common frequency schedules that you can choose from. They range from daily, weekly, and monthly across multiple time zones.
- Lastly, the filters you have applied to the report are displayed so you can double check these are the parameters you desire.
- The last step is to save your report!
How To Edit an existing Scheduled Report
If you need to make any edits or delete your report; navigate back to the Reports page, and find the tab for Scheduled Reports. Each scheduled report has it's own row and on the right most of that row there is an icon for editing and an icon for deleting.
Please note that if a colleague has scheduled a report to be emailed to you, they will need to update the report settings on their own scheduled reports page.
