How do I grant a user automatic access to a set of locations?

Goal

Control whether a user has access to all locations or only specific locations, so you can quickly align access with your operational model and reduce manual assignment work.

Plan availability: This feature is available on all plans — Jog, Run, and Sprint.

Tip: Choose Yes, Based on rule to have Pacer automatically grant access to locations that match admin-defined preferences (e.g., region, management type), reducing ongoing maintenance.

Warning: Selecting Yes grants the user access to every current and future location in your subscription. Use with caution for non-admin roles.

Note: When using Yes, Based on rule, multiple preferences combine with an AND relationship. For example, a user set to Continent: Americas – East US and Franchise Managed will only see locations that match both criteria.

How To

1. Open the Admin menu by clicking your name in the upper-right corner and selecting Settings/Admin.
2. Click Users.
3. Select the user’s name to open the profile window.
4. At the bottom of the window, find Grant User Access To All Locations and choose one:
   • No — User only has access to locations that are manually assigned.
   • Yes — User automatically has access to every location in the subscription.
   • Yes, Based on rule — User automatically has access to locations that meet admin-defined preferences.
5. If you chose Yes, Based on rule, set the required preferences (e.g., geography, management type) as needed.
6. Click Save.
