Goal
Tasks are sent by the Administrative team to Locations/Teams by way of a Project. It is possible for you to add tasks one at a time to your ongoing list for your Location to see and even assign them to others who have access to this same Location. In this article, we will show you how you can add a task.
How to Add a Task
You're able to add a task, one a time, to a specific location. First, you'll navigate to the task page of the location where you'd like to add a task. In the top right corner, you'll see this Add Task button
You're required to fill out a few fields depending on the features your subscription has available to you.
- Every task must have a target date. Fill in the field labeled below to give your task a due date
- If your subscription allows for start dates, you can use the date field to the left of target date to add a start date. Start date must occur before the target date
- Each task will need a responsible user. By default, we've added your name here as the task creator, but feel free to update it.
- Each task is required to have a related Department. This is helpful for filtering, reporting, and utilizing the graphs on the other pages to drill down on tasks and their completion rates.
- Each task must be part of a community. Typically there is a Property Level, or All-Team Tasks
