Land-It and Sonesta users, please see note below.
There are two ways to create a new user account – by invite or by user request. There is also an option to invite many users at once via an import tool.
To request access:
- Advise the individual to navigate to http://app.getpacer.com and select “Sign Up”
- The user will need to enter the access code for your company
- Fill in each of the fields and follow the prompts
- Once submitted, the request will be sent to the company's administrator for approval and a confirmation email is also sent to the individual requesting access
- After being approved, the requesting individual will receive an email with a link to create their password
To invite a new user to the application (Administrators only):
- Navigate to the Admin menu by clicking in the top right corner, and clicking Settings/Admin
- Select Users
- Select Invite User button at top right of page
- Enter user details and preferences and select Send Invite
- You'll be navigated to the Location Access drawer; grant the individual access to the applicable location(s) and select a default location; click Save
- The user will receive an email to login with a link to create their password
- After creating a password the individual can login
Import new users (Administrators Only):
When you navigate to the Users page you can select the blue button in the upper right corner labeled "Import Users". A drawer will open for you to download an import tool and upload when it's complete. This is a great option for importing many users all at once. The import tool has columns headers highlighted in RED. These columns are mandatory for the import to be successful.
- When you're ready to import navigate to Amin > Users > and select Import Users blue button in the upper right corner. You can jump to step 3 and choose your completed import tool.
- We will notify you during the import process if a username was listed on your excel spreadsheet multiple times (aka duplicate).
- When a discrepancy is found in the import process you will be notified in the bottom of the drawer.
Note that users will be sent an invite email with a link to create their account. This link will last 24 hours. If they request a new one, you can find their name in the list of users and in the right most column click the three dots to reveal a menu. In this menu you can select "Resend Invitation"
Land-It Users:
New users should login via MGS using the Island browser. Login to MGS > select Business Applications > Land-It > Launch Land-It.
Sonesta Users:
Launch Pacer by selecting it from your list of applications in OKTA.
