Goal
Pausing a project allows you to temporarily remove it from active dashboards without losing progress. When you resume the project, all task statuses, comments, files, and history will be restored exactly as they were.
Plan availability: Included in Jog, Run, and Sprint plans.
How To
Pause or Resume Projects from the Project Control Hub (PCH)
- Open the Project Control Hub and go to the Locations + Teams tab.
- To pause a single location:
- Scroll to the location list.
- Click the Pause icon (⏸️) on the right side of the row.
- The icon will switch to Play (▶️) for resuming when ready.
- To pause multiple locations at once:
- Check the boxes to the left of each location you want to update.
- Click the Bulk Actions dropdown and select Pause.
- To resume, use the same method and select the Resume option.
Place a Project On Hold or Resume it from the Project Wizard
- Navigate to the final step of the Project Wizard after publishing a project to a location or team.
- Click the Pause Project button to place the project on hold. This will remove it from the Location/Team Dashboard.
- To resume the project later, return to the same screen and click Resume Project.

Tip: Pausing a project does not delete any data. When resumed, all task progress, comments, and attachments will be exactly as you left them.
