Goal
Anytime a new project is assigned to a Location/Team the tasks are assigned to a suggested job title. You can quickly assign these tasks to specific individuals by using the Assign By Job Title function. You can also use and repeat the process each time you add a new individual to your team.
Notes
Any individual can use this functionality and it is important to do so. By assigning Task(s) to specific individuals they will then be able to receive reminders via their Daily and Weekly digests keeping them up to date on what’s due soon. If they have the Pacer app for iPhone or Android, they can also choose to get push notifications.
How To
- Navigate to a Tasks Page for your desired Location or Team.
- In the top right corner of the table interact with this icon
- A drawer will open up with a list of Job Titles that appear on this Tasks page. There is a number indicating how many tasks belong to that Job Title that are currently unassigned. There is a drop down field next to each number that will show a list of users in Pacer who have access to that Location/Team.
- In this drop down, you can select an individual to assign the tasks for that Job Title. You can skip any rows where an individual has not yet been identified or hired.
- Click Save at the bottom of the drawer and the tasks will be assigned.
