Searching for a specific task

Find a task that is assigned to you

Tasks that have already been assigned to your name are grouped together on the My Tasks view. If you need to find a specific task, use the search option. 

1. Select the Search option on the bottom toolbar
2. If this is your first time using Search, select the My Tasks Search option; if you have used Search before, select the MY TASKS tab at the top of the screen
3. Enter part of the task's name in the Search box and select the Search button on your keyboard
   • Note, when entering in multiple words, they must be in the same order as they appear in the task; for example if the task is "Engage marketing company to create a logo" then you can search "create a logo" but not "create logo". 
4. Any tasks found with that search criteria will be displayed; tap any task to be navigated to the task's detail page

Find a task that is not assigned to you

Tasks that are not assigned to your name are grouped together on the Location Tasks view, or My Favorite Department Tasks view if applicable. If you need to find a specific task, use the search option. 

1. Select the Search option on the bottom toolbar
2. If this is your first time using Search, select the Tasks Search option; if you have used Search before, select the TASKS tab at the top of the screen
   • Task search only looks for tasks that are in the currently selected location; to change the location, go to the Location Tasks view and select Change Location, then return to Search
3. Enter part of the task's name in the Search box and select the Search button on your keyboard
   • When entering in multiple words, they must be in the same order as they appear in the task; for example if the task is "Engage marketing company to create a logo" then you can search "create a logo" but not "create logo". 
4. Any tasks found with that search criteria will be displayed; tap any task to be navigated to the task's detail page
   • Results will include tasks that are assigned to you as well as those that are not assigned to you; to narrow the results only display those that are assigned to you, select MY TASKS tab at the top of the Search page.
